Discription : Porous house discovers the idea of passive ventilation and natural light from different directions and voids. keeping the interiors cool during summers and warm during winters.
Front facade
Passive design of the Facade for this residence generate an intimate environment, of privacy for its users, and at the same time allows building to breathe.
Porch
Lime plastered screen and the plants in between acts as a cooler allowing it's residents to enjoy their connection with nature.
Night view
After sundown when the interior space is lit up the facade appears like a lantern.
Living room
The Screen acts as a filter for the house keeping living spaces away from South-East face, the noise from road, and allows cool breeze to penetrate the house in hot summers.
Family lounge
Family lounge is located in the centre of the house which helps in dividing the private functions of the house from the public functions. Whereas the split slab allows the sunlight to enter the space from east
